Changing the Resolution of Your Screen

To change the resolution of your monitor screen go to your desktop toolbar and click "Start," then select Settings\Control Panel\Display. Click on the tab for "Settings" and then look down at the bottom right of the box that comes up. There is a little slide control that runs from less to more and by sliding it back and forth you may adjust the resolution of your screen. Higher pixel numbers (greater resolution) will produce smaller images and text but with more screen area and vice-versa. I use a resolution of 1024 x 768 in designing the pages of Confederate Pride. If you select at least this high of a resolution, you will not have to contend with a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of each page.

Just thought I'd throw this page into the site for those who may be technologically challenged and perhaps wondering why things look the way they do on their screens.

Have a Dixie day!
